KEY 2:  Rationalizing the System / Goal Alignment
We align our department’s goals to the company’s goals, and consequently, we "all pull together".
The situation
Often, company goals are defined at the management level. Until such goals reach every single employee, they often will have undergone important changes, or are neither understood nor accepted.
The solution
We communicate the need of our corporate goals, and align these goals within a process shared with employees coming from all hierarchical levels and areas of responsibility.
The benefit
All of us not only know his/her own area of responsibility, but the whole context, and thus may now align his/her activities in the aim to reach the goals of the overall company.
